The compact palletiser system is best suited to palletising applications that require an industrial robot, but space is limited, and pallet truck take off is required. Key features of the compact palletiser include;
Pallet truck take off
Very compact
Low profile conveyors
Easy programming software
140kg payload robot
Variety of gripper options available
Quick to install
The key feature of the compact palletiser system is that pallets can be removed with a pallet truck and pallets automatically feed through the system, giving high speed running all in a very compact footprint.
The system can be used on high speed lines and can included row gripping if required. Slipsheets and auto pallet feeding can be included in any of the layouts.
The standard Granta compact palletiser system is available in 3 versions:
Compact Palletiser Static – This system is the simplest option in the compact palletiser range. It enables you to load a single new pallet as required whilst the robot is running, and has manual take off through a gate for removing full pallets. It is available as a single or double lane system. The system stops whilst full pallets are removed and full pallets can be removed with a pallet truck or forklift.
Compact Palletiser Auto – This system has low profile conveyors out of the cell for removal of finished pallets with a pallet truck or forklift whilst the robot continues to run. Single new pallets are fed in as required whilst the robot is running. This system is available as either a single lane or double lane system.
Compact Palletiser Auto with Pallet Feeder – This system has fully automatic pallet feeding and fully automated pallet flow through the system. The robot continually runs and full pallets can be removed with either a pallet truck or forklift. It is available either as a single or double lane system. The low profile input to the pallet feeder allows for pallet truck or forklift loading of a stack of empty pallets. The system automatically feeds pallets as required and has low profile conveyors out of the system for removal of finished pallets with a pallet truck or forklift.
Below are some typical layouts of the compact palletiser system:

Payback is often less than 1 year due to labour saving, production increase, reduced HR.
Typically +40% due to: no holidays or breaks, forced takt time, longer working hours, faster speeds etc.
H&S claims reduced to zero as all manual handing is now done by the robotic palletiser.
